The Poet's Spring – Taken from life

The present era doesn't belong to the artistic, stylistic or generational divisions of the precedent decades anymore. The artistic abundance, its heterogeneity in styles and ambitions as well as the coexistence on the same project of artists with various languages and expressions contribute to free the artistic and cultural fields from apprehension.

This installation was conceived in link with the history of "Notre Dame des Anges" chapel.

This religious building was built in memory of the young children who've died too young, taken from life.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Robion's Poet's Spring, the Robion and its Words Transmitters Association have invited the artist Lucile Travert to present a creation in the landscape of the village's orchard at the bottom of "Notre Dame des Anges' chapel, which nowadays is desacralized.

The artist teamed up with Trimavan's "Ressourcerie" in Privas, an original place that wishes to be an alternative to mass consumption by prioritizing reuse, short-circuit distribution and collective spirit.

The dolls had been collected by the "Ressourcerie" at the "Secours Populaire" and graciously offered to the Poet's Spring for this installation.

The Trimaran Association has joined the national "ressourceries" network since September 2012.

When the Poet's Spring will come to an end, the weather and time will erase the artworks piece by piece. This is a good way for us to remember that art do not always call for eternity.
