The Poet's Spring – The Voices of the Heart
The present era doesn't belong to the artistic, stylistic or generational divisions of the precedent decades anymore. The artistic abundance, its heterogeneity in styles and ambitions as well as the coexistence on the same project of artists with various languages and expressions contribute to free the artistic and cultural fields from apprehension.
Thibert Travert / Al-Jinn, a guest artist, created a sonorous installation : "the Voices of the Heart" in one of the symbolic places of Robion's patrimony : the Pump.
After having carved the sound from the poetry readings of the Words Transmitters and having enhanced them with rhythmic heartbeats, the musician Thibert Travert / Al-Jinn has created this artwork specifically to revisit the importance of the Pump in Robion, the village's heart.
When the Poet's Spring will come to an end, the weather and time will erase the artworks piece by piece. This is a good way for us to remember that art do not always call for eternity.
