The Red Door Gallery, imbued by its credo to keep its gallery doors wide open to emotion and passion elected to exhibit the diversity of the creative act of paper making in all its forms. “Discovery and Curiosity “is the gallery’s mantra.

One year that was a unique occasion for artists to come together to participate in exciting projects celebrating Marseille/Provence as the designated European cultural capital region, the Red Door Gallery, convened to select artists to commemorate this cultural event in organizing individual exhibitions on the art of paper creations, editions and digital projects.  All of the exhibitions were inspired by the theme on “Paper in All its States” and culminated in an art book in the form of a perpetual calendar.

The preface of the  Perpetual Calendar is written by Dr. Bogomila Welsh-Ovcharov, Emeritus professor at the University of Toronto, Canada and member of the Estienne de St Jean’s Endowment fund, Aix en Provence.
